Overwrite text colour and add hyperlinks in WPBakery custom header

I'm using the custom header WPBakery element for the homepage of my site (http://dev1.markwelker.com/). I was wondering if it were possible to change the colour of text within a single heading element, as well as add individual hyperlinks to certain words of the heading (rather than the heading as a whole).
Basically I am trying to create an effect like this (https://lukefenech.com/) where a paragraph of heading text can have both red and black text, some words hyperlinked, others not.
Each time I insert HTML codes into the custom heading text input box, it reverts back to sample text.

I don't think this is possible with this element from WPBakery
You should rather use normal text content and add your text in heading - there you can link each word separately.
