Can I put any text on a picture in an album?

I have created an album for my front page, like the demo 'bronx'. But I wondered if I could put any text/title on each picture?

Yes you can. Slider uses title and description that you provide for each item in Media Library.
When you edit your album items http://rifetheme.com/apollo13-framework/docs/content-management/albums-works-post-types/album-media/ Click "Edit image details" and it will open new window where you can change Title & description.
Also when editing album please be sure to mark "Show title and description of album items" in Album details -> Album Media.
