Writing Effect trigger

I have included Writing Effect on a single page. Loop makes me dizzy so I just have it go once. But because it is a single page design, I would like to trigger the effect at a certain scroll event or other trigger. Is there a way to do this?

Writing effect is triggered when the page is scrolled to the place where this effect appears. There is no other trigger.


Try putting your writing effect somewhere low, refresh your page, wait for few seconds, and scroll to the place where it appears. You should see it being typed.

I have just checked and it is delayed by 500ms before activation when it appears on the screen.

By the way, you can always make writing effect slower in Appearance → Customize → Miscellaneous Settings → Writing effect
