Zoom on vertical images + disable right clic

Hello,
I just installed the Photoproof theme for one of my client ( http://philippedelaisement.com/ ) and two behaviours need to be changed.

First of all, my client would like to disable right clic on images to avoid visitor to save them. I could add a custom javascript, but maybe you have an elegant solution for that ?

Afterwards, I notice an issue on my image scrollers. When I click on it, it zooms but the image is cropped. See here : http://philippedelaisement.com/mode/

My client wants me to disable that scroll, but it would be much better to adjust the zoom according to the screen size. Any way to do that ?

Thanks a lot !

    Hey :-)

There are a number of plugins that can help you with that, and I would recommend doing this with a plugin.
    Check https://www.google.com/search?q=wordpress+right+click+plugin&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8

I am not sure if you have changed it already, however, there are options in an album where you can adjust various things about scroller behavior. Please check Album Media -> Present media in: -> Scroller and below options

    With kind regards.
  • Hi Air, and thanks a lot.

I finally found my way : for the right click, I just add a custom Javascript in the header, and it works well.

For the scroller zoom, I didn't found any option to handle it, so I decided to use the brutal way : I commented two lines into the theme js/script.js file, to block the behaviour. It works nice for the moment, and I told my client that it could be reset with a theme update... He can pay me a little longuer to find a better solution... His choice !

    Thanks again !

Haha ;-) That is also an idea.

As for clicking to zoom - you can change this option Album Media -> Cover or contain opened photos? to Contain - this way images will not be cropped after open.

Do you think it would be useful to add an option to disable opening at all?

    With kind regards.
