Background Issues

Hi
- I am using Decode Demo as my base.
- Upgraded to Elementor Pro via Client Request
- Used a Global Header and Footer

2 issues as follows

1-Background Color Gone
Default Background become Grey instead of White, anyway, I can change it?

While I can change it using "Style" on each Page Setting and also ass background color to each section, this is not ideal for client maintenance.
Also other "Post List Page" like categories cannot be revised easily also.

Example:

This is kind of critical if my client would continue to use Rife as this will be a Content Driven Site.

2- Cannot set the SITE LOGO for the Global Elementor Header and footer (Using Image at the moment)

    Hey :-)

    Like I have said in your previous topic https://support.apollo13.eu/discussion/comment/22921/#Comment_22921 using header/footer builder in Elementor Pro enables Canvas mode that disables a lot of the theme features.

    I have just found out this topic https://github.com/pojome/elementor/issues/4252 and it seems I can do something about it from the theme. I will investigate this now, and reply later to tell you what I know.

    OK I have mad some reading, and it seems I wasn't aware of all the documentation that Elementor released with Elementor Pro 2.0 concerning their header/footer builder.

    There is no easy fix with few lines of code that I can paste here, so I will get to this right now and release an update when it is ready.

    Most of the issues should disappear after this :-)

    Thank You. Yes I tried the 2 ways you suggested but never quite grasp them. Personally, I really preferred those header Rife already provided, just happened that this is the 2nd prospect that wanted this kind of header. I will attempt again on your solution or convincing the client.

    But do find out for me any other easier solution. I am willing to learn but client may not have the patience if they wanted to maintain themselves.

    Hey :-)

    Could I send you fixed version of Rife Pro after I will finish this tweaks for Elementor Pro, so you could test if everything is working good(as you intended)? This way I could tweak it faster if anything is missing.

    It is looking promising - finally custom header & footer from elementor seems to play nice with Rife!

    I will not be able to finish this today, so expect to hear from me tomorrow, and I will send you a test version.

    Thanks Jason, that is so nice to hear :-)

    I have sent you working copy of theme with instructions how to update.

    Custom header & footer should work now fine. The official update will come out probably next week as I have some things to do still.

    Test if everything is working as it should.

    I have also added basic support for default WordPress logo. You have to set it now in Customizer -> Site Identity -> Logo to see the logo in custom Elementor header.

    I hope everything will be better now :-)

    P/S: One extra question just in case you know. I set up the logo on Customizer -> Site Identity . The logo I uploaded looks small. You have any idea how I can make it bigger. ( Dun have to answer this if it is not right out of you mind if you know what I mean. :) You have more importants things to attend to.

    Great to hear it is working good :-)

    About logo - I don't know what exactly is happening with logo in Elementor custom header yet, so I won't be able to help you for now.

    Just as an update - since version 2.1.0 of theme there is officially added support for Elementor custom headers & footers. Big thanks to jasonser for helping with tests!

    Hey Air. Sorry for the long pause. I went back to Singapore , my hometown for some family emergency. Glad we can finally get this part of Rife Theme ironed out. :)
