Main image in Blog Posts List

Cannot figure out, how to add main image to Blog Posts Page.
Added one in both places [see images].
Also - can I get rid of that written "Blog" in the middle whatsoever and leave only an image [after it's properly attached, hah]?

I cannot confirm it without a live link, but I think you need to make Title bar overlay color option in Post list title bar options, to have some transparency.
To do it: edit its color and reduce opacity from 100, to some lower number.
