'Back to Portfolio'

edited November 2012 in Airlock Posts: 21
Hi,

I've lunched my website yesterday and today I've noticed something when I click on 'X' button to Back to Portfolio.
I've checked the slug but everything is ok... So I don't know what's wrong.

Portfolio page: http://www.anamatias.net/portfolio/
Error clicking on 'X': http://anamatias.nfshost.com/wordpress/?page_id=45

Thank you,
Ana Matias

    Hello.

I see one issue that could make other error for your project: http://apollo13.eu/docs/airlock/#!/adding_portfolio
You should change slug of your main portfolio page to something else, I personally use 'portfolio-list' slug for it.

Second, you have to make sure that you set proper page in portfolio settings as explained in point 5 in above link.

    With regards.

    Hi,

Did what you said, actually it's the second time I'm trying that, but the result is just the same.

    Portfolio page: http://www.anamatias.net/portfolio-list/
Error page clicking on 'X': http://anamatias.nfshost.com/wordpress/?page_id=45

(If you look to the error URL, it's my original URL when I designed my website in offline mode, before the launch... Don't know why this happens).

    Thanks.

So you moved your site from other location? It is important info. You know that when you do this, you have to do many things in wordpress to make it work proper. It is explained here http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress

    With regards.

  • Hi,

I know what to do when moving a wordpress because I did it with other templates and servers. This is why I'm asking you for help, because all the permalinks in my website (www.anamatias.net) are working properly, just this 'back-to-portfolio' X button isn't at all. I don't know why it's using the old permalink server url, but the other ones are working so...

    Thanks.

Maybe it is some permalinks cache bug. Try to change permalinks to something else and check if it will help you. If often does fix such issues.

    With regards.
  • I've tried that. As you could see, I changed the 'portfolio' permalink to 'portfolio-list' as you told me before... And still have the same problem. Also tried to change in Settings the permalinks 'post name' to other but with no success.

    I have no more ideas...
