Theme Post List (People) bug - pictures are not aligned and are extremely slow

Hi,

Recently I installed two plug-ins (Firewall) to protect the website to unknown threats, however since the changes the 'theme post list' (specifically people) is not showing correctly.

In Elementor it shows the correct version, but when I preview and update it changes completely. I have read other blogs and have deactivated and deleted both plug-ins. Deleted cache etc.

In addition: the only thing I have added to the website since the error is a SSL certificate. I contacted the host of the website and they said that the certificate has nothing to with changing the theme. How do I solve this?

    Hey :-)

Could you send me a link to the exact page where it happens? I will try to check what is wrong with these images.

    With kind regards.

    Hey :-)

Your page is hidden under the coming soon mode. Please either deactivate it, or send me temporary access to your WordPress so I could check there what is going on. Send it here on the forum via private message(click on my nick, in top-right corner you will find option "Message"). In message please add LINK to topic it applies to.

By sending access to WordPress I mean:
-create a new ADMIN account with a fake e-mail
-set some password to this account
-send me created login and password

*temporary - please delete this account after I am done, for your safety!

    Hey :-)

    Thanks for the access.

So I have noticed that on one of those pages, the image at the bottom is replaced on page reload with another random image.

I believe this is probably where the issue occurs, and WordPress returns uploaded original image instead of resized one.

How did you make this replacment? Is it your custom script, or something in the Elelemntor?

    With kind regards.
  • Yes, so WordPress uploads the orginal size instead of adjusting them. I do not use custom script or anything else, I added the widget through Elementor under 'Apollo Framework Extensions' . When I noticed the error I deleted the widget and tried to add it again. But the same error kept on returning..

'So I have noticed that on one of those pages, the image at the bottom is replaced on page reload with another random image.'

I don't understand this part. The size error is also visible on another page: https://teambliss.nl/work/business-improvement-intergamma/ - And it's only with this specific widget.

    Hey :-)

I have tried once again to find out what is going on with those images, but I can not find the reason.

To find the real reason I will need FTP access to debug this issue.
If you can please send me temporary access to your FTP for this website by private message.

    Thanks.

    With kind regards.

    Hey :-)

So the issue was pretty easy - Your site was served by https (probably it was forced by hosting settings) but WordPress was set to be on http.

Because of this mismatch script could not confirm that image indeed exists and in result served the original one.

Now it is fixed by changing paths in https://xxx.com/wp-admin/options-general.php

    With kind regards.
