Portfolio "recently added"

Hi,
Would it be possible in a next release to add the possibility to view the X most recent items of a portfolio?
I know that works are sorted by date, but users don't know that and might be interested in seeing the last 20 pieces added to the portfolio for instance

    Set Category -> All
    Item numbers 20

    But i'd like to keep the "all" category as it is, not to restrict it to 20 items.
    Is it not possible to add an additional category called "recently added"?

    That would double content and make not healthy complexion to portfolio categories.
    On your place i would rather add category 'recent ', and add to it every project you want. Same you could make use of 'Featured' Category, just rename it for your use(in code front-page.php line 126).
