404 error when adding social links in Hypershot theme

I am trying to setup the social links for my site. When I enter the links into their respective fields e.g. http://www.facebook.com/mypage I get a 404 error when I save.

If I enter the URLs without the http:// then it will save, but the links on the blog then go to mywebsite.com/www.facebook.com/mypage - and I get a 404 error again... because obviously those pages do not exist.

I am getting the same error.

here is my website: http://www.seangregorcreative.com

I am trying to add a link to my flickr profile: http://www.flickr.com/photos/seangregorcreative

When I add this link to the Social Settings and Save I am then redirected to the 404 error page.

Note: when I drop the "http://" from my link and save I get no error. HOWEVER, when I then go to my website and click on the flickr icon I am then redirected to "http://seangregorcreative.com/www.flickr.com/photos/seangregorcreative" and get a 404 error.

I notice that when I add my twitter information it targets a new browser window but when I add flickr it just appends the link after my website:

Should be this: "www.flickr.com/photos/seangregorcreative"
Actual value is this: "http://seangregorcreative.com/www.flickr.com/photos/seangregorcreative"

The previously attached file shows the address bar when I update my flickr social link WITHOUT "http://"

The following screen capture is what I get when I update my flickr social WITH "http://" in this case I updated the link and pressed save and was immediately redirected to this page.

Thanks for such nice description of issue. Unfortunately I can't recreate this bug, and I must admit that such behaviour is pretty insane. I think it could have to do something with some fancy plugins.

Could you please send me temporary access to your WP so I could check there what is going on? Send it here on forum via private message .
