How to as a HOMEPAGE a blank page with static image as background

Hi!
Thank you for the great theme.
I would like to set as a homepage a blank page with static image as background like file attacched (example.jpg).
How can i do?

What you can see in the image is not a classic home with albums but a background with no contents above...

I can see you have done it on your front page, that is great. Could you explain how you achieved it?

Hi.
Firts i have set as a image default backgground my selected image.
Second i have deleted in the category POST all the posts.
Third i have set in reading option "Your latest posts".

There are 2 problems now:

1) i cannot have posts in my site (for me now is good but if i put just on post it doesn't work

2) the image backgroud is not adaptive to the screen resolution

That's for i am asking if is possible to add a feature simply "set a static image as homepage" just creating a special page with no content and title with an adaptive image as background

If you want to get desired result on front page then instead of all that actions you will have to add only this CSS

body.home #mid{
    display: none;
}

Hi - I'm trying to do the exact same thing. I just want a static homepage full screen image with navigation on top. I tried adding the CSS above to style.css and it is not removing the Post box in the center of the homepage. Can you elaborate please? I truly have looked all over. http://carmenbergsen.com/
