Why do Shortcodes don´t work in the home page?

Need to insert this on it and it doesn´t work

There is non such shortcode in our theme. AFAIK shortcodes work fine in pages/posts.

I now. But this code is from a slider. Why it does´nt work in homepage. If I put it in another page it does with no problem.

Still you are lacking details.
-What plugin(maybe it require some kind of activation)?
-Live link when it does not work(you know, we have many variations of homepage)? -Does other shortcodes(form theme) work there?

The live link is http://www.proinsus.com If you check in both languages I have the same slider. And I cant use any Shortcodes. If you want I have mailed you a user and password for you to check.

I have tried Default, Albums and Archives templates and they all look the same. And cant use the shorcodes.

I understand that you wish to add shortcodes to page that you have set as front-page in the editor? It would only work when you set your front page as static page. In other types of front-page content from editor is not used.

I suppose you made it now by editing source code? If yes then it is best choice :-)
