Hello,

Is there any way to add content to homepage like a normal page?

I want to be able to add content below the slider without having to be restricted to blog entries, about page or latest portfolio items.

Also is there a way to disable portfolio? I am using another plugin for managing photos.

Hi,
you can use About text.

Create page in the page editor. Fill it with content you want on the home page, then in the Site Options -> Home Page Design in About text section choose your page.

You can disable latest works in the home page and do not add portfolio page to menu and use your plugin instead.
