Installed Photon a few years ago and...

in Photon Posts: 13
then the project went dormant for a few years. Its had a coming soon page since. So the project is back on and Id like to continue where I left off. Problem is that now when I log into WPadmin for the site all I see is a logo in the middle of the page. There is no header or anything. Like I said its been a couple/few years since ive logged in so I am not sure what happened, but how do I get back to where I was? If that isn't possible I would like to update Photon and start over. Any advice on how to remove the content and start over with the updates? Sorry for the newbness!

    Hello there:-)

Best would be to show me what you have currently(link to site:-) )

Second best thing would be to update theme, just as you said, cause it had many fixes since you installed it. Read more how to do it here http://apollo13.eu/docs/photon/#!/installation_update_update_theme

We stopped supporting Photon theme not that long ago, but sure I can help you bring it live :-)

I understand that you liked Photon theme for how it looks, however if you don't have lot of done with your site, maybe it will be better to move to new theme instead?

If you like to still have theme from us then I can recommend two options, both themes are much more powerful then Photon:
    1. FatMoon, available on ThemeForest https://themeforest.net/item/fatmoon-creative-photography-multipurpose-theme/15966469
    2. Free Rife theme available on our website https://apollo13themes.com/rife/

They are both advertised as "creative and photography" as this what we aim for right now, but they were build on Photon theme as base :-) However without music option, as this was one of biggest issue maker in Photon ;-)

    With kind regards.

Thank you for the heads up. I appreciate it. I gotta say I like the sound of an improved Photon theme so I will likely be downloading either of your suggestions.

    Thanks again!
