Targeting a section on the page in the 'One Page' in Starter Theme

in Starter Posts: 15
I am working off the 'STARTER 4'. There may be sections that I want to delete which are not needed. I would still, however, want the Nav Menu item to lead me to the section that I insert regardless of what I delete. How do I ensure that on click of the nav item in question I am taken to that section/row?
In traditional HTML one would set a '#sectionname' in the 'ahref' tag and name the section the same as in the 'href' tag.

I also want to close unnecessary white space between sections. Would I have to do that in custom CSS?

Thanking you in advance.

Regards,

Dean

    Hey :-)

There are 2 ways to approach this:

    1. Described in the old documentation that was created especially for Starter theme & WPBakery: http://apollo13.eu/docs/apollo13_framework_theme/#one_page

    2. This is more manual(the way you like it) https://rifetheme.com/apollo13-framework/docs/content-management/creating-one-page/ - see the section "Adding IDs with WPBakery page builder".

Personally, if you understand what are you doing I would follow 2nd way.

Some of the spacings are added by styles of WPBakery, however, if you will show me on screenshot/link which, then I could help.

Generally, while you are editing Row/Column you have the tab "Design Options" where you can enter 0 for margin and padding.

    With kind regards.
