Change Works to Albums

I have added more than 50 works, now client wants me to change it to album layout, masonry ( https://rifetheme.com/fully/albums/ ), of them... How to change Works taxonomies (for example in database...) to Albums OR/AND how to have same layout

Albums and Works have different layout available, so you can't have the same layout that you had with works.
As for database changes - I am not sure how names are connected to ids and taxonomies in the database, as there are few tables that operate on taxonomies.
In your situation, I would manually recreate needed taxonomies.
PS. Those undecided customers always make such a mess in realisation ;-)
