Twitter API for the theme oudated?

I'm not sure if I have a plugin conflict or the Twitter API for the theme is outdated, the widget just keeps on trying to load tweets, I know Twitter updated their API not long ago ...

About Twitter widget
Also cause of change in API and policy of twitter we had to remove Twitter widget from our theme as it was no longer usable. Instead we recommend to use
http://bluedogwebservices.com/wordpress-plugin/twitter-widget-pro/
To use you will have to provide twitter account info as explained in plugin instructions.

There is no CSS for it. Not yet anyway.
