Album showing with album list above background slideshow

Hi There, I have just downloaded the spaceship theme and am having problems getting albums to show properly.

For some reason the album list is showing above?

Hope you can help with this.

    I hope the above makes sense. The square album in the middle of the frame should not be there and the B&W image behind should be the start of a slideshow. Not sure why the square (album list) is there??

    So I have just created another page called travel.
    I used template album.
    For the Album I chose the 'travel' album that I had already created in albums with 4 images uploaded.
    The attached image shows the result. All albums are hovering over what should be the only album shown in the background.
    Really hope you can help with this as I cannot find a work around.

    I believe you have mistaken some things. Please check out documentation http://apollo13.eu/docs/spaceship/#!/documenter_cover mainly part about albums.

    What you are you choosing is not template Album but Albums which is used for Albums list.
    When you are selecting Album in option Background, then you are selecting what album should be visible as a background.

    I highly advise to check whole documentation.

    Thanks for the quick reply. I have had a good read through the documentation but I cannot see an obvious way to have a gallery/slideshow of images without them being linked to an album list. Every which way I try I still get the same or similar setup with a bacground image and albums hovering over. Or just a static image int he background with a title box over the top of it.
    I have created a page and an album (different slug names). The page shows on the menu but I can only achieve two things.
    1. When the page is clicked on album lists show as above picture.
    2. Just a static image shows with a box showing page title.
    There must be another option that I am just missing but really cannot find details in documentation.

    1. Albums list is showing all your albums. You don't have to set there anything except page template(Albums).
    2. If you want to link single album in menu then check http://apollo13.eu/docs/spaceship/#!/installation_update_after_installation - here you can see how to activate option so you could add albums to menu.
    3. If you don't want album to be seen on Albums list then in albums setUse only as background? to yes.
