Opacity in header color

in Blame Posts: 24
Hi!

I just purchased extended support for this question, so really hoping you can help me!! Is there anyway I can create some transparency (lowered opacity) in the background color of the header? I Want to be able to see some of the picture coming through the header bar.

Here is my site: lifesyncnow.com

Thank you kindly!
Adam

    Hello:-)

    Thanks for extending support time :-)

    You can do two things
    1. You can add opacity for whole header, so ALL elements will be semi-transparent.
    Just add this custom CSS:

    #header {
    opacity: 0.5;
    }
    2. As alternative you can add rgba background to your header, so only bg-color will be semi-transparent:

    #header {
    background-color: rgba(45, 45, 45, 0.83);
    }
    With kind regards.

    Hi there,

    Thanks so much for your help!!

    I actually just emailed you about a refund request because the MAIN reason I got this renewal was thatI got an email (On April 18, 2016) saying there was an update to the theme.

    When I went to download section of my account it said it had had expired, so I assumed I needed to renew to get the update. However I re-downloaded the theme after renewal and no update?!

    So please I am hoping you can process this refund, or at least a partial one as I know I asked the one simple question above. Although would appreciate the full as $50USD is $75Canadian right now :(

    Thanks very much, much appreciated!

    Adam

    PS. I used this forum for this message as I can attach a file so you can see the email I received, and will be easier to communicate. Please feel free to delete after reading.

    Envato makes it clear that updates are forever, no matter if you have support active or expired. As you can see here http://themeforest.net/item/blame-responsive-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/8171459 and here http://www.apollo13.eu/themes_update/blame/index.html theme was updated as it informs you in that message.
    In Downloads on ThemeForest you also have access to theme.
    What expired is probably this message you have received.

    You asked for modification, which I kindly did for you, but is beyond any support you can buy on Envato
    http://support.apollo13.eu/discussion/12/before-you-ask-read-this-#support_not_includes
    http://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy
    So even I didn't have to, I did for you.
    Now it looks like you lured me with some money, and now you are asking back for money - just my perspective, don't worry about it ;-)

    There is no active refund request from you on Envato. You have to do it by Envato, as they keep the money. Then we can accept it.

    With kind regards.
