Change Child Theme Name

HI Guys hope you're well.

Whats your recommended way to change the child theme name and still be able to get updates.

e.g. child theme is rife child pro and I want it to be mytheme

    Thanks, we are trying to be ;-)

    You want to change the name in the admin panel, or URLs in source code?
    If later, then rename child theme directory - it is not updated. You will have to reactivate it after renaming.

    Hey - URL in source code if possible - I still need to update the parent..thanks

    You will have to rename the main theme as well then, and probably in style.css of the child theme, change Template: rife to your new name.

    I am not sure how it affects updates, but I suppose you will have to update manually after such change.
